ethics. Fuck yeah, Anderson Cooper. That’s why he’s the best goddamn journalist in America. He actually acts instead of just standing there trying to capture carnage and footage.
I remember my World Issues teacher discussing AC in class, and how during Hurricane Katrina when he was reporting on the damage he started crying on-air. However the people running the show took him off the air briefly and told him to stop showing emotion on-air. When he came back on he told everyone that he was told not to cry or show emotion on-air. I really wish I remembered more about the situation.
(Not as amazing as what he is doing above, of course, but he fucking gives a shit about what he does.)

I think Anderson Cooper is truly one of the best examples of not only what it is to be a good American, but also just being a compassionate good human being. I always wished he’d run for President.
I just gained a lot of respect for Anderson Cooper.
